Dear Kinsley

Dear Kinsley,
You're now a toddler, but you will ALWAYS be my baby. Just like i'm still your Papa's baby, you will always be my baby. You're growing and learning so much every day. It's exciting to see you understand something or learn something new. I love encouraging you and teaching you, but i'm sad at the same time because i know you're growing and learning so that one day you can make it on your own. But remember baby girl, even when you're "on your own", Momma will always be here.
You're doing a lot of talking lately. I don't understand, well, all of it... but I LOVE listening to you try to explain what you're thinking about. Momma will always be here to listen to you so please don't ever stop talking to me. Together we can get through anything. I know there will be times in your life where you'll be sad or you'll get hurt, but just know you can come to Momma and we'll talk it through together. I'll cry with you, I'll laugh with you, I'll just hold you. Whatever you need, Momma is here.
You also bring SO MUCH JOY to everyone you meet. Not just your Momma and Daddy. We'll be at the grocery store and you'll giggle and wave at our deli man and just make his day. You're so friendly and happy that Daddy and i just beam with pride whenever we're anywhere with you.
Lately you've been going through a Mommy stage, where when i'm around you only want me. Honestly, it makes me feel amazing! I try not to let you get away with it because i know in my head that you need to be comfortable with other people besides me, but Oh how my heart smiles when i do give in and you cuddle close because you're so content in my arms. You are the reason why God will look down and me and say "Well done child"... because you are the best thing I've done. You ARE my greatest accomplishment in life. YOU are my proudest moment.
I love you baby girl, and even when you're yelling at me that you'll do it yourself, or that i'll never understand, I'll remember today and how you needed ME, only me. Then I'll smile and let you do it yourself but i'll stand close by so if you decide you DO need me, i'll be there.
Love,
Mommy

Finally, 10 Month Pictures

So obviously Kinsley turned 10months LAST week but i lost my camera, or rather i forgot where i put it, BUT it has been found so now you get to see her 10 month photos! Also since i didn't have my camera this weekend I didn't get to personally take any pictures of us at the pumpkin patch, so once my peeps send me the pictures they took i'll b e sure to post some on here~!

And here's my little girl because she's really not much of a baby anymore.
Oh she's about to get going!

Ha ha, You got me Mama!

It's a little blurry but this is typical Kinsley face! lol

Her thinker face
Kinsley,
I know you're ready to grow up and experience the world, but i'm not ready for you to. I know you want to walk and run and make new friends but I'm worried about what kind of friends you'll make.
Not too long ago you were my little baby. You couldn't do ANYTHING without me. Now you can hold your own bottle, feed yourself, and get to where you want to go whether it's crawling or now WALKING!
I love you sweet girl, but don't grow so fast that the world passes you by. It feels like it was just yesterday that your Daddy and I decided that we wanted to try to get pregnant and now it's only 2 months until you're a year old!
Remember that I'll always love you. Remember that I'll ALWAYS be here for you. And remember that God will help you through anything!

Love you oodles and noodles,
Mommy

Raining Tears

Dear Kinelsy,
So yesterday you and i took a walk with your boyfriend and his best friend (and their Mommy's). We were a regular stroller brigade! When we got to the back of our neighborhood and we were coming back the heavens opened up and laughed at us. I mean it was like the angels were hovering over head with buckets and they were just dumping them on us.

When it first started it was a heavy drizzle. You were sleeping and staying asleep. Then the angels got bored and decided to up the game. You were NOT humored. You woke up and cried, so i picked you up out of your stroller, from under the safety of your awning (even though it wasn't flood proof) and carried you the rest of the way.

We arrived home to Daddy (wouldn't you know THIS would be the ONE day he got home early) SOAKED. I don't mean wet, i mean we might as well have jumped into the pool with all of our clothes on. My underwear was even wet. SOAKED!

So after laughing at us (b/c it was warm so we were not in danger of catching a cold) he ran us a warm bath and in we hopped! We had fun splashing around and later Daddy even joined us in the bath (yea for big garden tubs!)! It was such a fun family moment in time. You were splashing and bouncing back and forth between us, just magical all the happiness.

So then Daddy got out and you, wild little girl, ready for bed. I came in and nursed you and put you to sleep. Later before we went to bed, I decided you needed a "dream feed," I just HAD to hold you one more time. Daddy picked you up, gave you to me. I fed you and cried. I cried for the immense amount of love I feel for you and for the man that gave you to me. I cried thanking God for this little miracle in my life and asking him to help me to be a good Mommy to you. Daddy came back. Smiled at me. Took you and laid you back down to sleep. I wiped away my silent tears. Then, my Cowboy put his big strong Daddy arms around me as we looked down at our little miracle and we just shared that moment. A moment that i will always cherish and never forget.

I love you miracle. You're such a blessing.

Love,

Mommy

5 months!

Dear Cupcake,

You are now FIVE months old! I can't believe it. I don't know where the time has gone. You're now laughing and talking CONSTANTLY. We don't know what you're saying but you LOVE saying it! You're discovering new things every day, like rolling over! You can roll from your tummy to your back and from your back to your tummy! The first time Daddy and I saw you do it we didn't even see it. We looked down and you were on your back and then looked back again and you were on your tummy! It was so funny! Everyone thought we were silly for getting so excited!

Each morning I get the pleasure of getting you up and ready for the day! You always great me with a smile. Whether it's from your crib where i walk in to find you playing with and talking to your feet, or from right beside me in bed where i brought you when you woke up at 4 in the morning (only 30 minutes before i have to get up) hungry.

Right now your favorites are your feet (you LOVE eating them), Sesame Street (you watch it on car trips with Mommy and Daddy aren't entertaining enough for you anymore), your Sophie teether, standing (assisted), and baths! You love attention and start smiling as soon as you see a camera is pointed at you!

You've taken Daddy and my heart! Just thinking about you brings a smile to our faces and i couldn't imagine a more perfect baby! Mommy loves you baby girl, i just wish you would stop growing up so fast! I want to keep you my little peanut forever.

Later this month we're going to have you dedicated at church. You're whole family is going to be there! This means Daddy and I are going to do our best to make sure you know God and how much he loves you. So if you're ever sad, confused, lonely, or scared just lean on him baby girl. Look to him for guidance and be the best little girl you can be and everything will always be fine!

Love you more then i thought possible!
Mommy

Right now Kinsley ALWAYS has a finger in her mouth chewing away!
It's so easy to get her to smile... this is literally ten minutes after she woke up!
Oh just look at the yummy rolls coming! I love to squeeze and kiss them!

Dear Kinsley

Dear Kinsley,

Hey booger! I know Mommy hasn't written to you in a while, i've just been too busy bragging about you! Well you are three months old now and it takes my breath away by how much you've changed since you've come into my life! It seems like it was just yesterday that we were telling your grandparents they were going to meet you in 8 months! Now you're three months old!

I thought when you were born it couldn't get any better then that moment. Getting to hold you and cuddle you to sleep. You were always the happiest laying on my chest falling asleep. But then you started to smile and laugh and i felt like it couldn't get any better then that moment... until you started to want to stand and coo and sing with me! Every moment with you is so magical it makes my heart want to cry with joy.

Each day during the week i have to leave you to go to work and walking out that door nearly breaks my heart, but once i see you again i forget all my sadness and just get to enjoy that beautiful little dimple on your cheek! You're a magical baby, you bring so much joy not only to my life but many others! Thank you for blessing your daddy and i with your presence! We love you more than i can put into words and i can't wait to fall in love with your next "stage" in life!

Keep growing and smiling baby girl! Mommy loves you!

Love more then you'll ever know,

Mommy

Dear Kinsley, We're 39 weeks!

Dear Baby girl,

Well we've made it to 39 weeks. You are now a BIG healthy girl! Mommy got to see you yesterday and you waved at me! It was so cute to watch your little hand open and close and think that soon i will be seeing it in person!

Soon i'll be holding you, wiping your little butt, and putting big huge bows in your hair! I dream about the first time i get to see your little face and i dream about the doctors placing your in your daddy's arms!

Baby girl, this has been a long time coming and your Daddy and I couldn't be more excited to meet you! We love you so much already, i can't even put it into words. So do your thing and come on out, there's lots of people that can't wait to meet you!

Here's our picture, hopefully the next one of "us" will be with you in my arms!

Love you baby girl! See you soon!

Mommy!

Dear My darlin baby Kinsley,

Dear Kinsley,

Well we've been through a lot together in these last 33 weeks. Especially this last week. You must have been growing big girl because Mommy could barely walk, lay, sleep, or eat for a week! But now you've dropped. I'm sure you're wondering why we would refer to your head landing in my pelvis as dropped since you most likely have other words for where your head is now but it's progress baby girl! This means you're starting to get ready to come and meet Daddy, Stella, Sadie and I!

But lets take a quick second to talk about your "dropping". I realize by having your head lower it gives your legs more room in my belly but that doesn't mean you have to start dancing ALL DAY LONG. Mommy KNOWS you're happy to feel like you have a little more room but you don't have to take it out on her ribs!

Now just a few things to catch you up on... Daddy and i got you your very own baby pumpkin this year! Don't worry we'll take a picture in case you don't get to see it. Also if you hear someone talking about "K", that's you. Daddy has decided it's your nickname. oh and me "patting" my belly is just me trying to remind you that i can feel you but i would prefer to feel you lower than my ribs.

Today i got to hold a 5 week old baby and was almost in tears because i knew it would be you i would be holding soon. Thank you for letting me share this time with you. Thank you for placing your tiny foot in my hand as i cupped my belly. Thank you for being you. I can't wait to meet you and every day that we get closer to your birthday i get more and more excited and scared. I hope you love me as much as i already love you.

I love you Kinsley Grace and soon I'll be able to kiss your tiny fingers and toes. Stay safe in there and keep growing and don't even think about coming out for four more weeks... then you can make your debut anytime you want!

love you baby girl!

Dear Kinsley

Dear Kinsley,

I love feeling you move everyday. You're such a special part of Mommy and Daddy's life already. We've almost finished decorating your room for your arrival... we just need a few more touches that we'll hopefully receive at the baby showers.

We talk to you everyday and i think you hear us because you move and kick and wiggle! It's so special to feel you and to know that you're such a happy and healthy baby already! This journey with you has been very magical and amazing. I can't believe God has blessed your Daddy and i with such an amazing gift. But don't get any ideas, you need to stay put for AT LEAST 6 or 7 more weeks... then if you REALLY need to come out to see everyone i know you'll be okay. I just want the best for you baby girl. I want the best church to help you grow morally and emotionally strong. I want the best daycare and school for you to help take you to places that i've never been. I want to teach you how to be grounded and giving and not put all your happiness into things and money. But i do want your Daddy to teach you how to take care of what you do have. Your Daddy and i pray for you every day and i think God is hearing our prayers since you're growing so big and healthy!

There's only one tiny little favor baby girl that i have to ask of you... well maybe two... First could you maybe give my ribs a break... and i don't mean to break them... maybe stop kicking them so they don't hurt all the time. I know I don't give you a lot of room in there since i have such a short torso and i'm sorry about that, but i promise you're really not going to make any more room for yourself by kicking my ribs out of the way... and i can't sit back to give you more room since you've decided to use my tail bone as a punching bag... now while i'm not BLAMING you... it might benefit us both if you would think about these things.

Now for the second favor... could you time it so that your first really bad blow out poop diaper happens on your Daddy's shift... i think he would think it's funny!

K thanks!

I love you more then i can put into words and i can't wait to meet and snuggle you.

Love you Kinsley Grace,

Mommy
