The Bow Gods Have Smiled on us!

So we ALL know i have a slight problem with buying bows. They are like my crack, and let me tell you Momma has got QUITE the crack habit! Kinsley just had some new bows come in the mail and let me tell you they are SOOO FREAKING CUTE!

AND she got a custom bow for her Dedication AND she was gifted a bracelet to match! Where did she get all of this fabulousness? Our favorite bow maker Princess Couture Designs! She put them all on baby snap clips for us (so they stay amazingly in Kinsley's baby-fine hair) and now she's going to be the hit of Virginia Tech when we go there tomorrow to see her Uncle graduate! YEA!

So Kinsley got some new bows in the mail yesterday and we LOVE them. We got them from little lesiw and they are so beautiful. Even better, our order took her a while to ship out, so you know what she did??? Gave us TWO bows for free! AMAZING! Everyone BUY from her! i love her stuff! OMG! It's the Wubbanub on CRACK!

OMG! IT's the wubbanub but BETTER! Can you STAND IT!?!?!? This could solve everything??? This could make it SOOO much easier for Kinsley to find her passy at night!?!?!? Dare i beg Chris to order one??!

Oh Dear Lord....

Yeah her... i'm convinced she's teething. Teething at 15 weeks. That's 3 and 1/2 months! It's possible, i've read ALL about it! She has all the signs, up more at night (WAY more, you doubt me? look at the luggage under my eyes), she's gnawing on EVERYTHING... seriously... last night she grabbed my finger and it was like a demon possessed her as she grabbed it and acted like it was the last ear of corn on the planet! She has a cold (runny nose, etc), drools and so on and so on... Oh dear lord! I was hoping this was all something the baby whisperer could fix... but no... NOTHING will fix this... I'm so tired!
BUT i did find a few things that will help make this a little more bearable! Gifts for baby AND me!!

Totswap

So last night i attended my first ever totswap!It was awesome! I'm SOOO glad i was able to go early before the general public... if i would have had to wait I wouldn't have gotten ANYTHING! So ladies do whatever you need to do to go early! Bring stuff to sell, volunteer, be a first time mom! ANYTHING!

So I made my list and enlisted the help of one of my best friends and off we went! Just standing in the line to go in was TRILLING!

In we went, it was like a mad dash! First on my list? Jogging Stroller! Here's what i got!

It's Eddie Bauer! This easily retailed for around 150-200! What did I pay??? $60!!! YES!! So I lift it over my head and carry it to safety!

Next on the list??? A stationary Jumper!

SCORE! It sells for $90 in stores... what did I pay??? $40! SWEET!

Okay now i REALLY needed a new bath tub... not sure if i've shared my distain for my previous one but it just doesn't work well for us... never was great, that "head pillow??? please! so i got this!

LOVE IT!, well i think, haven't ACTUALLY used it so i'll let you know! It retails for $25+ and I paid $10!
Next on the list was getting Kinsley some toys... she's good at beginning to stand and so i wanted a play table. When i saw this i thought "sweet" b/c you can take the legs off and let her play with it on the floor until she wants to stand and play!

This leapfrog table retails for $45 and I paid $14! How awesome is all of that???

We also got Kinsley a few little outfits (for like $3 each) and some toys! IT was GREAT! Everyone should attend at least one and make sure it's a BIG one!

new bows!!

So you all know how Kinsley loves her bows and must wear one at all times right? Well i found this GREAT website from another blog (Mrs. Foreste) and these bows are AWESOME! I can't wait to use them all... and order more when spring comes!

Pacifier from the Gods!

So one of my good friends from church gave me a pacifier for a baby gift (among other things) but let me tell you... i don't recall off the top of my head what those other things were, i just remember she gave me THIS pacifier. When we got home from the hospital i started trying paci after paci and Kinsley (my little Deva) rejected them all... finally i took THIS paci out of the wrapper and stuck it in and WHA LA! She was sold and so was I! This pacifier is given in VERY FEW hospitals so it must be ordered online... i tried to buy some "soothie look alikes" and she KNEW right away this was not HER Deva paci... so i am now ordering more in fear that we will loose our one. I really believe God blessed the person who...

Invented the Snoogle!!! What is a Snoogle you might ask? No it's not a designer dog... it's the most amazing pregnancy pillow EVER and it makes sleep possible!

That's MY SNOOGLE!!! It's quite amazing! I slept sooo good in its snuggly goodness! The only thing i would change is the sandpaper cover... i might have to wrap one of my own pillow cases around the top least i wake up with carpet burn on my face... i've really been spoiled with UBER soft sheets! I can't explain WHY this pillow helps so much in my early stage, all i can say it does! It helps my back to feel better, my hip joints and plus i LOVE to snuggle! I couldn't believe how rested i felt this morning~

On to other things... I'm in maternity pants! Yeah weird I KNOW! But the bloat is KILLING me in regular pants and the bella band is just not quite working out like i hoped... i will still try to use it on work pants... BUT my good friend Melody has supplied me with 3 pairs of Jeans, a pair of Cords, a pair of cargo Khakis, and a pair of black pants and it's WONDERFUL! Buddy (that's what i've taken to calling little bean after the movie Elf where the main character is Buddy the Elf) was just not happy being smooshed so i gave in and i'm giving him (b/c according to Chris we ARE having a boy) more room~

So here's what's going on in Buddy's world... He's the size of a  poppy seed!

The ball of cells that will develop into Buddy has completed its journey from my fallopian tube to my uterus. Once settled in its new home, it will undergo the great divide — splitting into two groups. Half will become Buddy, while the other half forms the placenta, Buddy's lifeline until delivery. The multilayered embryo then begins to grow into specialized parts of his body. The inner layer, known as the endoderm, will develop into his digestive system, liver, and lungs. The middle layer, called the mesoderm, will soon be Buddy's heart, sex organs, bones, kidneys, and muscles. The outer layer, or ectoderm, will eventually form his nervous system, hair, skin, and eyes.

Gotta tell you all this "building" is tiring!
