learning material for Kinsley!

So we had a nice weekend! I got some new bras that won't dig into Kinsley anymore and we got the crib put together (pictures to come) AND we got a great gift from my male reader! You remember Paul right?

yea i thought so...

well Paul is a very thoughtful kind of guy! He understands that children have questions about a number of things and he wanted to help Chris and I answer one of these very important questions... so he bought us a book!

Oh yes, you are reading that title correctly... it's about diarrhea! Here's the basic story line: Four year old Miles develops a tummy ache while on a family picnic in Maine. His planned camping trip with Papa (complete with canoeing and fishing) is postponed when throwing up (oops!) and diarrhea (loose poops) develop. Mama, Papa and Lucy Moose take excellent care of Miles at home helped by their kindly pediatrician, Dr. Hippo. Of course, Miles recovers in time to camp with Papa under a special, star filled sky.

Yea... well sounds simple enough right? oh but it really gets SOOO much better! Especially when Miles asks Papa a questions "Papa why is there a waterfall coming out of my bottom?" Oh that is only the first of MANY MANY graphically funny questions.

So when you're laying in bed awake at night because you can't figure out how to tell your children why there's a waterfall coming out of their bottom... then THIS is the book for you!

She's going to have a ROOM!

Yes it's true and i couldn't be happier! Chris's parents called last night and said they were ordering the Crib and Dresser



We're getting the crib (i know DUH) and the dresser on the right so we can have it as a changing table too! YEA!!!

And i ordered our bumper and crib skirt today so that we can use it for color matching

AND we're going to paint the walls that green and then i'm going to put up a monogram that looks similar to this



except reversed where it's white and the letter is pink! plus i'm dreaming up more pink accents and the curtains will be white and i'm thinking i love these

I just love how girly they are!!!

I have the BEST best friend~

So my best friend Christina couldn't help herself and just HAD to get our MAYBE girl a little gift (don't worry she sent a gift receipt) and i was tickled, well pink! (hahaha, i know!). It was such a nice surprise and almost brought me to tears i was so touched! She got baby a three pack of onies (see below)... Baby said she likes the cherry one the most! And a three pack of bibs, each one says a different thing and the last one says "Gorgeous (just like my mom)".... that made me smile! I might have a little girl that looks like me (well hopefully better but...)! It was soo sweet! Oh and baby got a teether! One of those really good gel ring ones that goes in the fridge to get cold! SUPER! I have to say that was so special! Having our friends behind us, supporting us, and excited for us just makes this journey so much better!

Speaking of that, my lab is SUPER excited b/c now that baby is showing everyone wants to touch my belly and i couldn't be happier!

So yesterday i found out that my mom has bought Babylove a gift... our

Glider!

YEA! Now baby love will be rocked to sleep in style and one day i'll get to read to the little booger in it! How freaking awesome! The room is coming together! Okay THE ROOM isn't, it's just getting filled to the brim with stuff that the baby needs, VERY COOL, but the ROOM is still just a make shift guest room, NOTHING has been done on it... anyway. YEA GLIDER!

Now lets talk about pregnancy brain... i BELIEVE i've mentioned it before but i really don't remember so i'm mentioning it again. You forget EVERYTHING! THIS story starts yesterday, around 2pm. My brain just shut down. BAM, DONE, NOTHING! I mean work has been crazier then normal but yeah it was almost like i could barely function. My boss and others were just greeted with blank stares from me! lol. So i go home and veg and try to forget the day. Wake up this morning, straightening my hair and i start freaking out.

We have a review coming up, basically decides if we keep getting money, so KIND OF IMPORTANT, and i need to put up some flyers, directions, etc for this... not hard right? Yea well you aren't pregnant!! My boss says put it up when you get in... right so when i get in tomorrow right? well i don't know the review isn't until Monday, so... UH! Guess i'll ask tomorrow and if i'm late i'll run around like lunatic on Christmas eve (Man i could REALLY use a latte right now!)... alright so that's solved... time to go to work

get in the car, CRAP need gas... no biggie... drive to the gas station, go to get my CC and i have NO wallet... i just KNOW it's at work in my cabinet... UH! ok, it's ok, i THINK i can make it if i drive slow. WAIT, SWEET! I have a CC on my key chain! I TOTALLY FORGOT! YES i'm saved! Pull into the next gas station (that is more expensive and punishing me with yet an even higher price b/c i'm going to pay with CC and not cash, crap) so i'm wait for the attendant to "authorize my purchase" so i can pump... la de da... la de da... What the @#$@ is taking this joker so long, doesn't he know SOME of us still have to get to work??? And then it hits me like a bird on a clean window... Chris and i have CANCELED this CC! Uh yeah, if i pump my gas and go inside and try to pay with my little mini card it will be declined. So i pull the pump out of my car, shoot the gas station attendant a dirty look so he thinks i'm leaving b/c of him and not because i won't have any money to pay him and go on my way.

So i turn off everything in my car that requires gas and go on my way SLOWLY to work. I make it, my light is on... my wallet is HERE... lets hope i can get to a gas station when i leave before my car stalls! YIKES!

Am i the luckiest Girl in the World? Yes i think so!

Last night i was talking to my brother (who is over the moon happy about becoming an Uncle) and he wanted to know when Lamaze classes started (he's very new to the whole baby world) and i explained that wasn't until much later but we did start our registries for everything that isn't gender related. He asked where and i explained the two places and why... so he starts looking at them and ask when can he buy the stuff. I said it's all up for grabs now (if it's on there) but PLEASE don't buy a lot b/c i know he's still paying off Major Law School Loans. Yeah so this morning i go look b/c i couldn't help myself and do you know what he got?

He's out of control, he really is but i can't help but think back to our childhood. When we were little (like Elementary school) he got a leading part in a local college's musical and got paid for it. Do you know what he did with part of his money? Bought be a bunch of Trolls a house for them and furniture (hey i KNOW You remember how cool they used to be)! He did that for me just because he's the best big brother ever. He also used to switch TV dinners with me if i liked his choice more, etc. He has always taken care of me and he still is!

So now he's not just taking care of me but also Babylove! I just feel God has beyond blessed me!
