I've just been tired, but BIG news!!!

I've been slack, I KNOW, it will get better I promise! But for now i've got some BIG news for you!!!

That's right! It's a boy! We were so surprised but SO excited! We would have been happy to have it either way but it's just awesome to have one of each! These were taken at 16 weeks and 4 days pregnant!~

Babylove 2.0 is 12 weeks! (yesterday)

Chris and I went for our first trimester screening yesterday and got a gander at a very stubborn baby. This baby did NOT want to cooperate with helping get the measurments. Instead it look liked it was laughing at us. GREAT, another one. Here's some photos for your viewing pleasure!

I totally suck at posting right now

I know! But here's a pic of why!

I mean that looks like a pretty awesome blob to me! It was jumping and dancing all around my tummy and the u/s tech gave us the worst pic she could! All the other images there were arms and legs a moving and a gooving.
Oh well, still cute.
And look how big this girl is getting! Like Whoa! Slow down kid!

New Ultrasound pic!!!

So we went to our monthly ultrasound and K has slowed down a bit... i mean she's still ahead for how far a long we are, but not quite as ahead. She is now only 6 days ahead. She weighs in at 3lbs and 15oz! Still my little chunker! She's growing so well... the most "advanced" part of her as far as growth is concerned is her head... which is still nice and low in my pelvis and her feet are still up in my ribs. She's such a thoughtful one! K obviously knows which way is out and has been ready for it since day one... we just need her to stay put for at least 6 more weeks or longer.

So here's the best photo she let us take yesterday (she was sleeping and mad we were trying to wake her up...

there's our little beauty! I'm back now to being on top of the world and i can't wait to meet her! I still can't believe Chris and I created this amazing sassy little girl! Mommy loves you Kinsley!

Oh Dear Lord.... new Ultrasound pics

So it's like this... my child is HUGE... H.U.G.E. Now before you get on my for "giving her a complex in utero" let me give you the details...

1. I'M huge... no not my butt, my stomach... it has it's own zip code now and makes an appearance in rooms before i do.
2. We had our monthly ultrasound and well she's measuring ahead again... and not just a week. TWO WEEKS!!! Uh YEAH TWO, One TWO. Every time i go there she's measuring further and further ahead. Oh Dear Lord Chris and his Family's big babies
3. She is 3oz shy of 3 THREE pounds. Yeah she's 2 pounds 13 oz!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!!?

Oh and also this child is ALWAYS head down... every time i go in for another ultrasound she's HEAD DOWN... now for those of you who are worried about your breached babies and want to be me with a head down baby, i'm worried that she won't stay in... i mean seriously i've told Chris from the beginning that THIS child is ready to meet the world and i keep having to remind her she needs to get bigger and healthier to meet the world... so she listens to me and is now 2 weeks ahead... gezzz. Smart ass!

So here's the "little" beauty

the first one is her hand that she was opening and closing for us... she was WAVING!!! and then the foot. The tech said the top is a big toe and the bottom is the heel but i think she has it backwards.

Yes that's my beautiful Kinsley's face. See she was so deep in my pelvis and turned just so that we couldn't get a profile, just this... scary skeleton alien baby. And in the first one it looks like she's laughing like an evil spawn at me.... i can just hear her now **enter creepy horror movie music** "hee hee hee... i LOVE you mommy, i'm coming to see you SOON! hee hee hee...we're going to 'play'... hee hee hee". Yep that's my daughter!

Seriously i am happy so healthy and evil active. I can't wait to meet her, i just hope she understands i would rather meet her later then sooner... unless she's trying to set a record for the largest baby born... then sooner is okay with me.

Kinsley is BIG!

Sorry i was MIA yesterday because i needed to give my tail bone a rest so i was on bed rest yesterday and BOY did it help! I feel SO much better, still hurts some but the difference is AMAZING!

Well we had our monthly check up on our little girl and she was SOO active, it was hard for the tech to get measurements! lol... that's my wild child! lol.

Well here she is in all her beautiful glory...

 Isn't she cute??? that first one is supposed to be feet... mmmkay... but look at her too cute profile!

She's measuring a full week ahead and is 1lbs 6oz!!! What a cute little chunker!

I can't wait to kiss all those rolls!

 It's a Foot! and a profile! And a big belly! No seriously, we got a shot of JUST the belly... i think ALL my burgers are going to HER belly! lol

It's a scary alien face followed by the best profile EVER! look at that cute little nose! I can't wait to kiss it!

Despite being 5 days ahead (grow baby grow) Kinsley is shaping up to be quite the beauty! I can't wait to meet her... but i will wait... at least 20 weeks young lady!!!

GAH! This kid is SOOO my kid

Stubborn! VERY stubborn! Kept those little legs crossed nice and tight! We had one brief opening where the tech said she thinks GIRL!!! But lets just say i'm not going to start painting the room yet! I did however buy this super cute dress!



Hey i couldn't help myself! I did save the receipt though, just in case!

So without further ado let me introduce our little one again, seen here at 16wks 1 day

First pic is the top of the head... the second one is the face from a top angle... i know it's like those pictures where you had to stare at until you were cross eyed and THEN you might see what you're supposed to.... just take my word for it~

This one is a little easier. Top is the profile (she gave us a kinda crapy one but whateve) and the spine. The second one is the head at the top and body at the bottom with an arm! Yes my child has ARMS!

Overall the experience was great. When the tech tried to see the sex we saw VERY distinct legs crossed indian style! lol! At one point there was an opening and i was looking but then BAM legs crossed! No matter how much the tech beat on my belly this kid would NOT move those legs again! UH! oh well.

The GOOD news is that baby is VERY healthy! and is measuring a day ahead (my little over achiever!)! So we feel very blessed!

Just for reference though i will be referring to baby as a She from now on... if on July 14 we learn differently then i will change it to a He. IF we find out we were right with the She THEN she will be named!

Babylove is getting BIG!

The first (if you couldn't tell) is a profile shot of our little ones full body. You can see the whole body and the leg (that looks like it's floating unattached, but i assure you it IS attached, he/she's just turned so it looks funny). The second one is the head and shoulder and the baby is bending its' little arm to scratch its face! AWWW! I just loved the little arm and hand shot so they printed that for me too!

Other then growing RIGHT ON SCHEDULE (Those burgers are working!) everything else looks really healthy and perfect too! Chris and i were wildly excited because now our baby looks like a BABY! Chris even told ME that I did a good job! lol! He's so excited! YEA!

Nothing Funny about this one

This one is simply magical. At least for Chris and I. Yesterday was our first doctor appointment and we got to have our first sonogram! It was just breath taking to get to see our little one up on the screen. (I WASN'T IMAGINING IT!) He (or she) was quite the active one kicking his little nubs (b/c they Technically don't have feet or hands fully yet). But man he's got some spunk b/c he was just kicking away! He is good and healthy with 170 heart beats a minute (i'm told that's great!) and he's measuring right on time with a December 8th due date! YEA! Chris and i just thought this was the neatest experience and can't wait to see him again!

It's really just the most amazing thought and feeling that THAT little guy is in my right now... MOVING! Simply incredible!
