My friend has mad skill!

So I had one of my friends come over to take some pictures of us for K's 3 years, Parker's 1 year, and well just family shots in general. She's starting to play with photography and would like to start a business/ make some money on the side and well I LOVE the pics she took... one that I love the most I messed up and can't fix it so i've asked her to re-mail it to me and then I'll post it... but until then check out these beauties!

My little cheeser!

We did some outside pics but it was really foggy and drizzling, but I think that added a really cool element to the pics!

Our family boot pic... to be taken yearly~

Love this shot of Parks eating his cake...

Not sure how the first birthday is going to go though...

At least we know clean up will be a breeze!

Yes Parker, I have put your cute little old man butt on the internet for all the world to see! LOVE!

Like I said, she loves her brother, agressivly so...

This might be an out-take to some but well... this is us really... me holding Parker while trying to get Kinsley to cooperate... do you see her face?

And the hubs keeps asking me if i want more kids? Our hands are full... think i'm done!

Think she doesn't have him wrapped up?

Not bad! I think Jackie is our new photographer!

So if you live in the area and want an up and coming photographer shoot me an email and i'll pass along her info to you!

***update, here is my favorite!***

resolutions? what the hell

I mean Why not do it right? It's FUN to look back and see what a failure you've been! So Let jump on the bandwagon shall we?

1. Find a church... since we haven't been trying maybe i should say start trying to find a church but hell heck, it's a whole year let find THE ONE!

2. Go on a spending diet. The hubs has been telling me for a while that if we did allowances that I wouldn't even get that because I've got to stop spending but I didn't get it until now. We aren't in debt, we just aren't saving, because of me... so enter the year of no frivolous spending!

3. Lose 40lbs. Yup that's a big number but hell heck, we're accomplishing a lot of big this year!

4. Have my family eat more clean and less processed. because that's easy and takes no extra time right?

5. Decorate my house creatively... since we're going to do #2 it's going to have to be REALLY creative! hmmmm

And I'm going to stop now while I'm still behind. Are you committing to anything? Want to help me accomplish mine?

Reclaiming the boobies

I am officially done with breastfeeding. Last Wednesday I pumped for the last time. I had been weaning for a while... Parker has been off the literally boob for a few weeks, but I've been pacing out my pumps to avoid engorgement.

Now, it is done. The boobies are mine again. Along with the extra weight of not breastfeeding.

Did you know you can burn an average of 500 calories a day if you exclusively breastfeed? Yup now I have to take that into account along with all of my other over eating issues and cut back even more... yea.

I know what you're thinking... OMG ERIN he's not one year yet!?!??! You were SOO close!... never fear dear blogy friends, I have a stash. The stash in my basement is quite extensive and well... he will most likely go PAST his first birthday with breast milk still in supply!

But now, the boobies are mine again and well, I REALLY have no excuses to not lose weight since I don't need to eat fatty yummy calories to keep up my supply. Now I just need to lose weight and be the best Mommy I can be for my babies!

There's a small light at the end of the tunnel

You may have heard me brag a time or two about the awesomeness of my mother-in-law but let me do it again!

So it's no secret that i've been losing my ever loving mind lately... well right on cue the hubs has a business/pleasure trip to go duck hunting. Awesome... two nights with no hubs AT ALL. I was scared. But you know what? My Mother-in-law ROCKS!

Saturday she called us up and asked if K could spend the night (HELL YEA SHE CAN)... then she called back and said Parker could stay too if K was okay with it. She was so we practically threw the kids out of the car at Grandma before she could change her mind (kidding!).

So we slept in until like 11 the next day (amazingballs) and then Chris started getting all his stuff together for the trip. He left and I still had no kids! HOLLA FOR A DOLLAR! So get this people, I went to the grocery store ALONE!!! OMG! It was amazing! Then when I got home Grandma called and said that K wanted to stay another night, was that okay? Um is everything better wrapped in bacon? HELL YES!

So I had wine with friends while I watched football, then went to bed and woke up right before I needed to start teleworking! Amazing!

I'm truely blessed to have such a rocking Mother-in-law... best part (besides getting to suggle my kids last night)? When K asked if she could go to Grandma's house again and then come back and see me later!! Yes child you may go again, and again, and again! We are both better people after some Grandma love!

Why yes we DID celebrate Christmas!

As y'all know K is NOT a fan of the big jolly man but we did what any good parents would do, we took her to see him again AND bribed her with the carousel! It went well... too bad Parker couldn't be bribed!

K enjoying time with Sasha!

The Bribe
Was a win!

My cheeser making a gingerbread house with Sasha, and eating ONLY the grapes from her fruit salad...

OMG i think my uterus just jumped! He's so cute! Parker, My Dad is well Pop pop, old. HA

WE HAD A WHITE CHRISTMAS!

So K made a snow worm, we tried for an angel but she didn't get that concept.

Somebody LOVES Spaghetti! I love watching him eat all the different foods! And BOY can he eat!

Next up CHRISTMAS! K got a bike and babydoll from Santa, she was so excited because that's exactly what she asked for!

Minnie Mouse Dog Boutique!

Mirror Mirror on the Wall, K is the fairest of them all!

My brother got Parker a Cars ride on and the kid is IN LOVE with it, such a boy!

We ended our Christmas with an amazing dinner and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and blew out candles! It was so special to see Christmas connecting in the eyes of Kinsley and to see Parker enjoying all of the paper! HA!

It's coming, the plan is coming!

Check it out ladies, I've got a plan! Holla! It is more about making me a better me than it is about getting skinny. I mean I plan on getting skinny but I also want to make my family healthier too.

I know I know get to it, you want the plan... well my plan is a hybrid of Dr. Oz, y'all, pintrest, and stuff that I know works.

I'll eat often. 6-7, 10, 12-1, 3-4, 5-6 and no eating after 8.

First meal will be a green smoothie, oh and coffee... always coffee!

Why yes that is my smoothie right under Parker's breastmilk... we're going to be healthy together... I have about 11 more of those containers in the basement freezer! I made all of my smoothies ahead of time so that it would save me time in the morning... time i don't have!

second meal will be egg whites with peppers and onions mixed with cheese and put into a low carb wrap.

lunch will be turkey with tomato, spinach leaves, and a half of avocado

afternoon snack will be something with some protein or such... think fruit with almond butter, boiled egg.

dinner will be balanced... that's the most i can promise. Ha!

Workouts? You THINK you know what i'm going to say but you don't!! I'm going to do a couch to 5K! But I will do insanity TOO! HAHAHA  My craziness astounds you all! C25K is 3 days a week, well i'll need to do some other stuff between that so I will! On the C25K days I will also do some weights because through all of your blogs, etc I know that weight training is very important so that's the plan.
