I mean where do they come from and why do we have them? I guess so Tuesday won't suck so badly... but man Monday's SUCK!
This past weekend we were able to ship the kiddos off to Grandma's HOLLA! It was awesome! I picked K up early on Friday and took her to get her nails done. I was all like "yea just paint them but she does like to put her feet in the water to pretend she's like Mommy"... do you know what those little nail betty's did? A FULL OUT Pedicure... I shit you not, oh and they did a mani... And i'm not telling you this to tell you how awesome they were (even though they were and K was glowing with excitement the WHOLE time)... I'm telling you about this because I about slit their throats when they gave me the bill. My 3 year old cost more than me! ALL of her nails put together equals one of mine and yet she cost more!?!?! Yes she did get designs (um most of them were polka dots... not hard to do ladies!). Now I'm sure y'all are all like "Um Erin why didn't you ask prices first?" BECAUSE we've done this before... normally she's like $10 plus $5 or so for the "designs" I mean $20 total TOPS! Lets just say I hope K likes Momma trying to drunk paint her nails because that is the only way she's going to get those pigies pink again!
Saturday was another adventure (one more reasonably priced, based on the service) for the littles and me. Salon time! She was due for a trim and i needed to get rid of my rootie tooties. So yes my daughter goes with me to my salon to get her hair cut because the last time i took her to a "discount" place she came home looking like Loyd from Dum and Dummer... NEVER again. So she comes with me about every 3-4 months and gets it all! The shampoo, cut, blow dry and she LOVES it! It's actually really cute to watch her, she just sits there all giddy not moving at all! This time we got crazy and threw a pink hair extension into her hair... I'm pretty sure she's the coolest 3 year old EVER!
After that it was PEACE OUT to the littles as I threw them into Grandma's car and then took off like a bat out of hell before she could change her mind.
I got home to my Northern Cowboy who had gotten me flowers!
The best part of the weekend (aside the good bonding time, crabs with friends, and getting to hold a one week old) was Sunday night. The Man and I were working on the basement again, got another door in and some more drywall up... well his buddy, an electrician, stopped by and he's coming by on Wednesday to "give us light!"!!! Y'all we have lights down there but there's no switches, there's lights with little tiny mini chains on them (because the longer chains keep falling off). So I have to jump in the air every time I want to do laundry and hope I grab the chain... sometimes it takes a few tries... i might look like an ostrich trying to do a jumping jack... not graceful, there's no Michael Jordan airs happening here.
But after Wednesday we'll have lights, switches, and outlets! OMG!!! Now if we could just get the shitter connected we would be legit!

I Won the lottery! Or not...
So my kids, house, job, etc has sucked the life out of me literally and I'm finding it hard to function right now... so instead of giving you a whole post about what pisses me off, I decided to join a link up!
So here's what I'm thinking... it's going to be one of the BIG ones like hundreds of millions so i don't have to worry about math and shit since you'll lose half after taxes.
First, I'm taking the lump sum. I don't want to risk something happening to me and my family losing out on the rest... lump sum all the way.
Second I would take one million for each kid right away and put that in a bank account with lots of interest earned and they can't touch it until they are like 30 because they are my spawn and they will spend that shit on stupid things at Target if I don't stop them.
Next I'm going to fix my townhouse up the way I would want it in my dreams because I don't want the next person to own it to have to deal with it... and then I'm going to sell it for cheap to a deserving family that's just starting out. Because I'm nice like that.
I will then building my dream Southern Living Home.
It's going to be stupid awesome and have everything I've always wanted and put MTV Cribs to shame. I'll have a HUGE gourmet kitchen that is open to the massive family room. We'll have a sun room that is right out of a magazine and the whole house will be cozy and have lots of character!
And then I'm going to build one for each family member(see "family members below) on my property because I'm going to have like 100 acres and it'll be a compound!
I will buy each family member a car of their choosing (My parents, chris's parents, brothers, and sister-in-law)
I will pay off all college loans for family and pay for any future schooling they want.
I will then get a trainer and chef to help me lose weight for my up coming shopping spree in New York
Oh and I"m going to hire a shoe maker to make sure all my Louboutins never lose their red sole
because you know I'm going to have a closet FULL!
I'm going to give lost of Moola to the church and charities
AND i'm going to give my BFFs like at least $10k (chris might then feel obligated to do the same and he's got WAY more BFFs then me. I'm also going to give me Co-worker friend a shit ton so she can quit this crap and enjoy her life!
Oh and then I'm going to go on vacation for like a year (because my house/compound is going to take forever to build) and visit every where in the world I've been wanting or maybe even not wanting to see.
Then I'll start a charity of my choosing and work that the rest of my life~
What will you do?

Life with a 3 year old is like a constant kick in the ass
So i was all ready to write today about how much I hate three. How three year olds are the devils spawn and I'm going to put my child up for sale... then when I was going on hour 2 of laying in my child's bed with her while she wasn't sleeping and she was chatting away, despite my reprimands to shut the hell up stop talking I came to a realization!
See a little over 2? weeks ago we switched Kinsley to the 4 year old room at daycare. She is academically VERY ready for this room. Upon further thought and listening to her, i don't think she was emotionally/socially ready for this. Since her move we've been having poop issues, which are now constipation issues and we've been having behavior problems. I can't believe I'm just now putting this together (enter Mom of the year) but I think they are related. *SMACK head to desk*
So I asked the director to put her back in her 3 year old class part time. She really needs the academic challenge but she also needs to fit in and be with her friends.
I hope her poop gets better~
FYI I did take her to the dr and we're on a regime of Miralax to get her normal again.

Let it begin... or continue, whatever
Well here's a progression for ya... me when Parker is around 3 months old
A few months later
Owe last month!
Yesterday
I've only lost MAYBE 4lbs but I've been toning up A LOT!
Still have the dreaded "mom" section to keep working on~
So you see I'm making progress. I KNOW i am, but i still have a long way to go~ I had my neighbor take the photos last night because she's having me start the T25 beach body program with her. I'm determined to see this thing through and I wanted to have before and after pictures. The only problem is she owns it and I haven't been able to talk the hubs into letting me buy it... lets hope I can before a day comes that she and I can't meet up!
Also I'm still running, Got the 1/2 marathon coming up in October, don't worry I haven't forgotten about that! AND I'm back on the clean eating bandwagon after falling off while trying to build a basement~ Chris's cousin is a beach body coach and I ordered a weeks supply of Shakeology from her to try out the different flavors and in hopes I can (again) convince the hubs to let me order it~ We'll see. I'm such a gimmick whore!
So here we go, one month until the beach and 10 months until my brother-in-laws wedding!
Hey! Happy 4th y'all! what am i late?
Well please excuse the tardiness of my post but i don't have fireworks and sparklers to show you because we didn't do any of that. Nope we got busy in the basement! WHAHOO!
See we started with this:
See we started with this:
A seriously UNFINISHED basement.
Then this got delivered
On Wednesday Parker got tubes, then my mother-in-law came over in the afternoon to watch him while chris and I built our first wall!
On Thursday my Dad got there with the nail gun so things picked up pace!
Friday we headed to the depot~ some more...
By Saturday night we hung one of the doors!
I think we're making AWESOME progress. These are all phone pics so sorry for that, i'll get ya good ones soon, of the kids helping too!
